Description
Cà sat quietly on the windowsill, watching my every movement. It didn’t make a sound or cause any trouble, just silently observing like a serious little audience member, occasionally blinking. Cà’s calm presence was one of my favorite things in my studio.
Sữa, on the other hand, was completely different. It circled around my feet, occasionally jumping onto the table and mischievously tapping the palette before darting away. I barely managed to stop it before those tiny, soft paws left prints on the wet paint. Sữa made me laugh but also kept me on guard, as I never knew when the next playful disruption would come.
I added a bit of light to the petals, darkening the shadows at the vase’s edge. The colors gradually came to life, layer by layer, exactly the way I had envisioned. Cà remained still, while Sữa finally settled by my feet, unusually quiet.
The painting slowly came together, with flowers and light mingling just as I had imagined. A morning filled with calm brushstrokes and the presence of my two four-legged companions had become part of this piece.
