About Me
It’s my pleasure to have you here, visiting my art website.
My name is Hoa, an independent artist living in Ho Chi Minh City. Painting, poetry, reading, writing, and kind-hearted people are the heart of my life.
After a long journey of living and learning, I’ve come to realize that living simply, sincerely, and with love is the highest form of art. No matter who we are, where we come from, or what we do, whether we paint or not, each of us has the ability to live passionately and create like a true artist under the sun.
I paint every day and write poetry whenever I have time… or when someone asks! Painting has brought me wonderful friends from all over the world, allowing me to admire my own works daily and connect with collectors who have been and will continue to accompany me on this journey. The kind words and support from everyone have filled the atmosphere around me with positive energy, allowing my world of painting and art to flourish.
Besides creating, I’m also a mother of four – which seems to be the greatest and most meaningful creative work I’ve ever done.
I’m a fast and efficient worker, yet I’m never in a rush when it comes to life. I enjoy living slowly and joyfully, just like the sloths in Zootopia – always surprising and full of delight.
In 2024, while working on a large-scale international project, I needed a name that would be easier for my foreign partners to remember. Without even a second’s thought, my sweet 8-year-old son called out “Flora!”in the most endearing way, making me feel as if that name had been a part of me from the very beginning.
2024 was also a year full of changes and unexpected opportunities, leading me to embark on the journey of becoming a full-time artist.

I decided to use the name Flora for my professional artistic journey. Flora Do Arts not only reflects my real name, Đỗ Hoa, but also symbolizes Hoa doing art, marking a shift from all the work I had done before.

I can feel you! Finding time to paint isn’t always easy, especially when you’re balancing work, family, and other commitments. But even a few stolen moments with a brush can feel like a breath of fresh air. But your ‘small’ paintings are awesome! Keep up the great work!❤️

This is beautiful. Yellows pop so well and the greens/purples are beautifully rich. Love a good flower! 🔥🗯️🎨

Currently, I am working on three different series: Dreamy Da Lat, Alexis Flora and Rocky Trees. These series are expected to be completed in the first half of next year. What ties them all together is the philosophy behind my work – the powerful bloom of life and presence, regardless of circumstances or adversity.
I will gradually share my progress on this website and across my social media accounts. If you’d like to explore these works in more depth, feel free to email or message me – who knows, we might discover something meaningful together.
